The September issues of magazines are the biggest ones of the year! They have the most pages and set the mood for the season ahead. Let's just say - next season is looking realllllll black lol! 


Beyonce Knowles covers the September 2018 issue of Vogue Magazine. She handpicked her photographer, Tyler Mitchell, whom is the first Black person to shoot a Vogue cover in 126 years! 

"When I first started 21 years ago, I was told that it was hard for me to get onto covers of magazines because black people did not sell. Clearly that has been proven a myth. Not only is an African American on the cover of the most important month for Vogue, this is the first ever Vogue cover shot by an African American photographer." 

Rihanna makes history as the first Black woman to be featured on British Vogue's September issue.
