I've always admired Virgil Abloah's progress. He's the true epitome of "started from the bottom, now we're here". He made history when we became Louis Vuitton's first Black Men's Artistic Director and he showed everyone exactly why he deserved that position with his first show!
I'm a sucker for details and Virgil KILLED it. From the vocabulary terms to the background of the models to the breakdown of looks and even the runway colors, he thought about absolutely everything!
One thing that I love about his collection is its realness. Louis Vuitton's women's collections have always been fire and current, but the menswear was outdated, almost even stiff. Virgil brought life back into this brand and I can't wait to see where he continues to take it!
Sidenote: I'm totally fan-girling over the iridescent Keep All. It's a MUST HAVE!!
