Starting November 1st, Virgil Abloh is bringing his IKEA designs to the masses! Titled Markerad, Swedish for “marked”, Virgil’s limited-edition homeware will available for purchase in the United States online and in stores as supplies last.

“There’s always an underlying message in my creations. A little bit of irony and a human connection”, says Virgil Abloh, creative director of menswear at Louis Vuitton and creator of Off-White.

In the collection, you’ll find Virgil’s signature quoted text on many of the minimalist-driven pieces. This collaboration marks an important step for Virgil’s career. He’s now entering the mass-market home space, but his mission remains the same: “to create designs that could satisfy both practical needs and emotional aspirations”.
