I'm going to start with this - I love to see all my fellow women WIN! In such a male dominated world, it's always nice to see a woman dominating her industry.
But, I'm a honest person and I like to give credit where its due truthfully. While reading Forbes' article about Kylie Jenner, owner and founder of Kylie Cosmetics, the one thing that didn't sit well with me was the idea that she's "self-made"...
When I think of self-made, I think of someone coming from NOTHING and fighting their way to the top despite life's relentless obstacles. Being self-made is being told no more times than yes but persevering through hard work and dedication. Now, I'm not saying that Kylie hasn't worked hard for her success, but she was born into her wealth, privilege, and already booming empire. I mean it's pretty equivalent to Donald Trump whom was given a "small" loan of a million dollars from his father to start his empire!
The real GOAT in the Kardashian clan is Kris Jenner. She's a savage businesswoman with incredible marketing strategies. She has used her children's images to create this unstoppable family. Without her, how successful do you think Kylie would actually be?
